Description:

Toast the bard with the best of our Scottish artisanal produce. Robert Burns had a deep connection to the land and food of Scotland, celebrated throughout his verses.

This Burns Night selection brings together three iconic Scottish cheeses, traditional oatcakes, and our own homemade beetroot chutney—everything you need for a truly Scottish grazing board. Make it big and braw by adding Highland venison salami and a pint of strong ale or cider to wash it all down. Ideal for Burns Night suppers, informal gatherings, or a relaxed evening of poetry, whisky, and good food.

At the heart of the selection is the Errington Burns Night guest cheese: Ayrshire Dunlop. This sweet, buttery hard cow’s milk cheese hails from the south-west of Scotland and has a direct connection to Burns himself. Burns’ own mother produced a version of Dunlop in the early 1800s, and Burns later kept an Ayrshire cow and made cheese during his time living in the region—making this a fitting centrepiece for any Burns Night table.

Included in the basic selection:

  • Ayrshire Dunlop (200g)

  • Lanark Blue (200g)

  • Clava Brie (250g)

  • Dalgetty Handmade Oatcakes (250g)

  • Errington’s Barn Homemade Beetroot Chutney (150g)

Optional Big and Braw Add-ons:

  • Great Glen Venison Salami (80g)

  • Old Jock Scotch Ale by Broughton Breweries OR Meadowsweet Pictish Cider by Cairn o’ Mohr

Suggested Whisky Pairing:
A smooth Speyside or Highland Scotch pairs beautifully with the buttery Ayrshire Dunlop and rich Lanark Blue. For a smokier option, try a lightly peated Highland or Island whisky.

Please note that alcohol cannot be purchased by anyone under the age of 18.
