On arrival enjoy a delicious tasting board highlighting fine Scottish cheeses. The master cheesemaker will then begin with an introductory talk about Errington Cheese and its historical connection to the stunning landscape which surrounds them. From the observation windows watch cheese being made and matured.
We will then continue through the farm and into the barns to learn where the milk for the cheese comes from. There is ample opportunity to interact with our friendly herds of sheep, goats, and pigs at this point. Things are ever changing and there are always new lambs or kids to meet.
Portions of the tour are on a working farm and can therefore be a little slippery and uneven under foot. Please therefore wear practical footwear such as boots or wellies etc. The weather is unpredictable, and we recommend that you dress appropriately, although large portions of the tour are within the farmhouse and barns.
