Our delicious Dunsyre Blue Cheese and Pear Tart is quick and easy to make and makes a popular supper for all the family.
For a quick supper:
1. Put a ready rolled puff pastry sheet on a baking tray, score a rim around the edge of about an inch, brush beaten egg over the edge
2. Slice 2 pears thinly and arrange over the centre part of the pastry, squeeze a little runny honey over the pears
3. Crumble around 100g (ish) of Dunsyre Blue over the pears (you could use Lanark or Biggar blue)
4. Sprinkle a few walnuts over the top and put in the oven at around 200 (I think) - between bake and roast on a Raeburn - for 30mins.
Eat with green salad & red wine!
